Values: Maintenance

This program is a reiteration of the Values: Foundations offering, focused on maintenance and updates.

It consists of two short maintenance sessions intended for the Executive Team/C-Suite of your business. In the first 2hr session, we will review the original documentation and key points of your company’s values. We’ll revisit your original conclusions, affirm or adjust as necessary. We will also create an ongoing Values Upkeep maintenance schedule, focused on helping the executive team continue to focus on their values. At the conclusion of this first session, we will review of hurdles or blockers encountered since laying the Foundations and begin ideation for solutions.

We will then schedule the second 2hr session to discuss how you can leverage your values to efficiently and effectively deal with the hurdles you have encountered. My role here is to facilitate the discussion and anchor the conversation to your values. I will offer potential solution paths, provide basic supporting documentation, and play devil’s advocate on behalf of your stated values. I will also, when beneficial, help identify major milestones towards remediation. Please note that I will not mediate nor execute this plan, nor will I provide detailed step-by-step actions. This meeting serves as a checkpoint and broad directional compass.

Time investment: 4 hours of non-consecutive discussion. Typically divided into two 2hr sessions spaced one week apart. Flexibility is available, provided no single session lasts less than 1hr and all sessions are completed within 14 calendar days (10 business days).

Deliverables will vary based on your needs:

  1. All clients will receive an updated living document of actionable value statements.
    • Minor changes or clarification will be annotated within the document to show how the values have evolved.
    • If significant changes occur, an additional side-by-side document explaining the changes will be provided.
  2. All clients will receive a recurring maintenance schedule, with checkpoints and milestones for Values Upkeep.
  3. Situational options: clients may receive a combination of the following potential documents:
    • An updated ethical risk document.
    • An alert framework, highlighting areas of actual, suspected, or alleged violations of values.
      • Each will include notes from our discussion, such as a broad action plan or values-based explanations for taking immediate action on a specific situation.
